The Future of Nursing: Leading Change, Advancing Health Recommendation #7

Nurses should assume leadership positions across all levels including acting as healthcare decision makers on boards, executive management teams and in other key leadership. In the state of Delaware there are approximately 372 boards and commissions ranging from the Advisory Council to the Division of Substance Abuse/Mental Health to Delaware Commission of Veterans' Affairs to Council on Health Promotion/Disease Prevention to name a few.
