Bonnie Osgood, MSN, RN-BC, NE-BC

Bonnie graduated with her BSN from the University of Delaware and her MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is certified in Medical/Surgical Nursing and as a Nurse Executive through ANCC.She has experience in multiple roles such as a preceptor, charge nurse and patient care coordinator to her current role as a Nurse Manager of Medical/Surgical, Cardiac Telemetry Inpatient Unit at Christiana Health System. Bonnie is the current President of the Delaware Nurses Association. Her term expires October 2012.
Wayne Smith, President & CEO, Delaware Healthcare Association

Wayne Smith is the President and CEO of the Delaware Healthcare Association, the trade group for Delaware's hospital industry. Wayne retired after more than 16 years as Member of Delaware's House of Representatives, the last 10 as the House Majority Leader. He has received numerous awards, among them the Distinguished Legislative Service Award, the Leader of the Year Award, and the Samuel S. Fels Award for Alumni Achievement. He received his Master of Governmental Administration from the Fels Institute of Government at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Prettyman is a Professor at the University of Delaware. He is also the Nurse Practitioner Coordinator and the Director of the Nurse Managed Health Center at the University of Delaware.
Allen is a certified family nurse practitioner and his research interest include adult weight management and interventions and e-Learning for adults. He has numerous publications and has been awarded the Delaware Nurse of the Year (1998) and American Academy of Nurse Practitioners-Delaware State Awards for Nurse Excellence in 2011.

Patricia Welsh EdD, RN is the currently the Department Chair and Instructional Chair at Delaware Tech Community College Stanton Campus. She has been a nursing faculty member Delaware Tech for the past 12 years. Prior to this position she was an adjunct instructor of nursing at Delaware County Community College in Media, Pennsylvania and a clinical instructor in the Staff Development Department for the DuPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Delaware.
Dr. Welsh also spent 8 years as an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Wesley College in Dover, Delaware. Clinic experience include staff nursing at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Taylor Hospital and Bryn Mawr Hospital in Pennsylvania.
Pat holds a Doctor of Education degree from Delaware State University and a Master of Science degree from Villa Nova University. Her area of research included the use of high-fidelity simulation with nursing students.

Ann-Marie is the Staff Education Specialist at Christiana Care Health System. She provides leadership and mentoring through staff development and quality initiatives. She specializes in the Clinical Ladder, Plan of Care, Education through Simulation, and Culture of Responsibility.
Ann-Marie's professional experiences includes PACU nursing and Director of Nursing. She received her BSN from the University of Delaware and is currently enrolled at Wilmington University for a Master of Science in Nursing-Health Services Administration. Ann-Marie expects to graduate in May 2013.

Kate earned her nursing diploma from Thomas Jefferson University, School of Nursing. After completing her BSN and MSN from University of Delaware, she specialized in nursing education and nursing administration. Kate is a board certified Nurse Executive with over 35 years of nursing experience. Kate is currently the Director of Education at Bayhealth Medical Center. Her responsibilities include patient, staff and consumer education.

Ruth is currently the Director of Nursing Resources and work in offices at both the Wilmington and Christiana Hospitals. She earned at BSN at Holy Family University and a MSN from Villa Nova University, both in Pennsylvania. Ruth's professional experience is primarily in the specialty of emergency nursing but includes medical surgical staff nursing, clinical instructor and leadership positions.
Ruth specialty certifications include emergency nursing and nurse executive. She is an active member, past president and current membership committee chairperson for the Delaware Emergency Nurses Association. She also maintains memberships in the following organizations: Emergency Nurses Association, American Nurses Association, Delaware Nurses Association, American Trauma Society, American Organization of Nurse Leaders, and Sigma Theta Tau International.
