
Third Annual DC Bus Trip
Join the Delaware Nurses Association as we go on our Third Annual DC Bus Trip to Washington DC! We will be going to Capitol Hill to meet with the American Nurses Association Government Affairs staff and our national legislators*. Along the way, network with friends and colleagues and gain some knowledge about legislation, how it affects your nursing practice and what ANA does for you.
Speakers for this road trip will be announced.
3.0 nursing contact hours will be offered**.
It’s going to be a bus load of fun and education! This invitation is open to ALL nurses and nursing students who are interested in learning more about ANA, legislation at the national level and networking.

Pick Up Locations and Times:
Wilmington: Christiana Mall Park and Ride
Pickup: 6:00am Drop off: 6:30pm
Dover: Kmart (515 North DuPont Highway)
Pickup: 7:00am Drop off: 5:30pm
Breakfast: A light breakfast will be provided
Lunch:Thank you ANA for providing lunch!
DNA Members/Undergrad Students: $65
Non-Members $75
Pre-Registration is required. Space is limited! Drop off times are estimates.
Please arrive 20 minutes prior to departure time!
The Delaware Nurses Association is a constituent member of the American Nurses Association.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be received in writing and post-marked/or emailed by June 13, 2013. Full registration less a $25 processing fee will be refunded only cancellations cancellations received before the above date. No refunds will be issued after June 13, 2013.
To be fair to those on the waiting list, registrations are NOT transferable.
Bus trips may be cancelled due to low number of registrations resulting in a financial loss for the Association, inclement weather, or state/national issued 'State of Emergency' announcements.
The Delaware Nurses Association is accredited as a provider of Continuing Nursing Education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Commission on Accreditation.
*As Congress is in session, there is a possibility that we will be meeting with legislative aides instead of legislators. **Subject to Change
