Lieutenant Governor Matt Denn, the Delaware Ecumenical Council on Children and Families and Nemours Health & Prevention Services are sponsoring three Faith & Family Resources conferences. One purpose of these events is to introduce Lt Governor Denn’s new “Faith, Family & Foster Care” initiative to the faith community.

The Lt. Governor’s goal is to help significantly increase the number of families that provide foster care/become foster parents for Delaware’s children. In order to make this initiative work, the Lt. Governor is reaching out to the faith-based community with the common message that faith guides us all to care for the most vulnerable among us, including children in foster care. The other purpose of the event is to further educate faith leaders about existing resources available in our communities in support of families.

Three additional workshops will be convened. This conference is designed for those who hold leadership positions in houses of workshop and/or in the faith community.

Seating is limited. To participate in the training, you must complete all of the application questions listed below in the registration e-mail. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.  Admission will only be granted to confirmed registrants.  Applications will be numbered at the time they are received. The earlier the application is submitted, the better the chances one has of being selected to participate.
