Exploring Nursing Research:
NIH Bus Trip 2012
Join us for the Fall Road Trip to the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. This bus trip will include continuing nursing education on the bus ride down and back. Our tour of the NIH will include:
- Visit to the National Library of Medicine
- Tour of the National Library of Medicine exhibit titled "Native Voices" which covers native peoples' concepts of health and illness
- Tour of the Research Hospital
- Nobel Laureates of the NIH
- Discussion with NIH staff nurses
2.0 nursing contact hours offered.**
Objective: Explore current issues in nursing research.
Who: This invitation is open to ALL nurses and nursing students who are interested in learning more about the work of the National Institute of Health, nurse research and networking.
When: Thursday, November 15, 2012

Wilmington: Christiana Mall Park and Ride
Pickup: 6:00am Drop off: 7:00pm
Dover: Kmart (515 North DuPont Highway)
Pickup: 7:00am Drop off: 6:00pm

Undergrad Nursing Students: $49
DNA Members: $65
Non-Members $75
Pre-Registration is required. Space is limited! Drop off times are estimates.
Please arrive 20 minutes prior to departure time!
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be received in writing and post-marked/or emailed by November 2, 2012. Full registration less a $25 processing fee will be refunded only to cancellations received before the above date. No refunds will be issued after November 2, 2012.
To be fair to those on the waiting list, registrations are NOT transferable.
The Delaware Nurses Association is accredited as a provider of Continuing Nursing Education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Commission on Accreditation.
*As the National Institute of Health is a working organization, there is a possibility that the schedule will be adjusted or changed.
