Four Types of APRNs
| Delaware - Full Practice Authority State In 2021, Delaware become a full practice authority (FPA) state for APRNs. This means APRNs are licensed and operate autonomously with no required supervision or transition to practice hours. This also means Delaware APRNs can establish and operate their own healthcare practices within the First State, billing directly for services provided. Because of full practice authority, APRNs are closing gaps in access to timely, comprehensive care across the state. APRNs continue to collaborate and work with the entire multidisciplinary health care team. |
